Notes: I like this simple song about watching night become day. It's a familiar experience to me. As a person who has historically had difficulty sleeping, and as a parent of an infant, I am intimately acquainted with the gradually shifting gradient that travels from total darkness to utter illumination, and the sense of transformation that it stirs within me.

This song is simple because my time is scarce these days. But I'm so happy that I still get to do this project even though my life has changed so much recently. I want to drop a quick note of gratitude to my wife and co-parent, Rebecca, who selflessly supports my continuing pursuit of these songs by picking up some of my slack for me each week so I can still write, play, and sing for a little while. Thank you, Rebecca!
