Last week I wrote somewhat of a sweet love song, and this week I thought I'd keep it going. This is a bit of a lullaby to offer my beloved an assurance that I'll be there. I wrote it on solo bass guitar, because I just bought a new bass and I really wanted to feature it. I think the quiet sentiment of the lyric and the sparse depth of the bass really compliment each other. I hope you enjoy it.
lyrics
When the lights go out
And you're fast asleep
When the moment is hanging
When the silence is deep
When the feast of summer
Feels far away
When the cold invades here
You know I will stay
I'll be next to you
