Notes: Merry Christmas from beautiful Boulder, Colorado! We're here visiting my in-laws and taking in the fantastic scenery. Last week I offered a hastily made song, done quickly on my phone because I had bronchitis. This week's song is pretty similar. This song was made perhaps even more hastily before we flew last Wednesday, in the midst of packing, errands, and other preparations to travel here to Boulder. I think this is the first Mount Everest track to be written and recorded entirely before 7 AM. You can hear the strain in my voice, still recovering from illness (which has thankfully since resolved). These quick ones are inevitable as I try to make this project work as part of a busy and sometimes hectic existence. They might not be my favorites, but they help keep the whole train moving from station to station. I hope you and yours are happy and healthy this holiday season, and looking ahead to many good things in the new year. Next stop, 2024!
