I'm just over a week into my tenure as a resident of Maine, and I am awash in the new. I have lived in places like this, but I haven't lived in this place. I am learning the typical sights, sounds, smells, and sensations that greet me in the morning and when I go to sleep, when I sit in my home and when I step outside. I am finding the rhythms and attitudes that I will inhabit here. I am learning the various facets of the kaleidoscope I'm looking through. It will take time to learn it all, but I'm adjusting just fine.
