about

Notes: I'm pretty sure I like this song, but I think it's a little funny. It's pleasant enough to listen to it, and I'm glad for that. Yet the verses and the refrain don't quite tie together lyrically. I wasn't self-aware when I began to sing that all the pieces fit together, even if I don't know where they go. If had been cleverer, I could claim that the refrain is a meta-commentary on the song, that the message is clear but I just don't see it yet. But I am honest to a fault sometimes. Truthfully, I don't really know where I was going with this, but I had a nice time making it. I hope you like hearing it.

lyrics

All the biggest wheels in motion
Down the road I'm driving on
Deep inside my contemplation
Lost in pieces of a song I'd write if I had the time

All the pieces fit together
All the colors match up
Whether or not I see where to put them all quite yet

I pull a thread we've spun together
I follow north the way it shows
Never losing my direction
Not even if my eyes were closed
I'm good
See I know the way

All the pieces fit together
All the colors match up
Whether or not I see where to put them all quite yet
