Notes: I'm working on a pretty wild project. My old bandmates and I are trying to finish an album that we left unfinished thirteen years ago. This means revisiting really old ideas. It means writing words to songs that we started when we were barely even functioning adults. It also means putting a lot of my creative energy somewhere other than here for a little while, which is just fine. The whole thing has me thinking about time and how it has changed me, but maybe not quite as much as I might have hoped. This song sounds pretty down, but that's not how I feel. I feel reflective, and it feels good.
