I love how this little track about winter came out. As I was writing the song, I planned for it to be nearly twice as long. I was writing the lyrics, feeling pretty pleased with what I was coming up with, and getting ready to start working on the next verse, when I decided I had said everything I wanted to say. Writing a song every week can be tricky, so I won't lie -- often enough, I have bailed on writing subsequent verses out of laziness, frustration, or lack of time. This time, I called it quits on the song simply because I was satisfied with it. I hope you're satisfied with it too.
lyrics
Don't mind me if I spare a thought
As I peer through the winter
Whatever's on the side will come
I have lived so many lives
Always one storm or another
And somehow I have weathered every one
I love to watch it coming down
I love to get out into it
When it comes, darling
Take a walk with me in the snow
