I've been having a bit of a hard time recently, and for me that usually means spending a lot of time lost in thought. One thing that I've come to understand over the years is that I'm more likely to get lost in thought if I'm not paying attention to what I'm thinking. Getting lost in thought is a process of letting thoughts string along without my attention. I'm trying to listen to myself more. I'm trying to hear myself instead of letting my thoughts run. That's what this song is about.
