I wrote this song last week in anticipation of being reunited with my wife after a couple of months apart. She was studying for the bar exam, and I was spending time with my family. We reunited this weekend just in time for our anniversary. This song is all about anticipation, but I'm already on the other side of that emotion. We just arrived home in Brooklyn and I'm glad to move past the anticipation, and start writing the next chapter together.
lyrics
I'll find the road to you
It don't matter how long
I could race against the rain
I could sing a new song
And the second I'm there
You know I won't wait
'Cause the moment will arrive
That I see your face
And what will I do?
What will I do when the moment arrives?
