I've done a lot of celebrating lately, so I was a little surprised when I turned in a pretty low-key entry for the week. I think I sometimes need my music to help me come back down again. Rebecca's law school graduation was a major high. The thrill of seeing my partner finally cross this most impressive threshold is something I will remember forever. The day before that was my birthday, and it was a wonderfully exclusive event. Rebecca and I spent the day at the beach doing absolutely nothing, worrying about absolutely nothing. It was the first time I can remember the two of us putting our worries away so completely since she started her law school journey. It was the best birthday present. I took this song as an opportunity to linger in that day a little longer.
