This week I'm revisiting a pandemic theme that I've explored in the past, that the people and places we can't visit sometimes feel as if they vanish when we're not looking at them. They don't. The world continues on, merely constructed of more isolated pockets of experience. After all, I'm still here, and you're probably not looking at me. It's springtime, and more than that, it's springtime after a pandemic winter. I'm looking back to where I left people and things, and I'm gratified to find them (for the most part) where I ought to expect them to be.
lyrics
I look away
And so it's gone
I look away
And so it's gone
We're moving on
We're carrying on
We're moving on
We're carrying on
I turn around
And there you are
I turn around
And there you are
You're right where you've been
You're right there again
You're right where you've been
You're right there again
