Notes: I tried to write a calm song about being anxious to settle myself down. I'm basically no longer functioning because the election is so close. The text of this song doesn't deal with the election specifically, but it's the reason I wrote the song. I'm glad because songwriting isn't the only thing I can do to help calm my nerves. For example, yesterday I went out and voted. I basked in the afterglow for the rest of the day. It felt so good. Then today I was back to nervously calculating the odds, but it doesn't help because I don't know how to calculate anything. I'm so bad at math. So instead I write songs, and it helps.

Lyrics:
Cold wind come
Blow me away
Out into the sky
Somewhere strange
Cold wind knows
Where it's gotta be
Blows from the dark
Straight through me
Hold onto you
Ain't no other thing
I know I can do
All night long
I been afraid
Look into the dark
Turning away
Turn to you
Turn to the road
Light of the moon
Takes us home
Hold onto you
Ain't no other thing
I know I can do
